It's not a prototype, but rather an unsubstantiated conceptual rendering.

Infiniti (Nissan) has made no announcements that indicate they are putting out a new performance sedan.

There's speculation that there will be a new high-end luxury sedan: linky

And there's speculation that there will be an Infiniti-branded GT-R: linky

This rendering is just a mis-mash photochop of the GT-R with other Infiniti models (G35 body, EX tail).

+1. I usually disregard anything from autoblog, autospies and all those other "weblogs" that come out with some artist/photoshop rendering and try to pass it off as a sneak peak.

 

Nice find. That concept doesn't do a lot for me other than the claimed performance.

 

For some reason, the body styling reminds me of a Dodge Charger...

I'm dreaming, but maybe Infiniti will get some ideas from Tecni with his VH45 G coupe and get the ball rolling on a concept like that with the OG coupe style in mind..

 

The scoping back end looks ugly and impractical (no rear headroom) at the same time.

 

im kinda feelin it, i dont really like the back, looks like ex.. im pretty sure they will spice it up before its released but i wouldnt mind pushin that if it has he new gtr motor or the 50 v8...

i read that in 2011 the M class suppose to get a brand new motor M50 and m37.. maybe its the new M ??? no?

 

I think it looks like ****...the tailights are crappy....looks like there using the back of a maserati/aston martin....even though its supposed to resemblem the GTR....Those front fenders...????

well hell yeah the sketches look nice..but when does a sketch ever come out in an actual production model car...unless your CHIP FOOSE...!!
