True...but there is no FWD vehicle in Infiniti's line up. The max fills that void.

If you want FWD, get a fully loaded Altima.

Sorry, I love the Max, it's been one of my favs since the 3rd gen. I just hate what Nissan has done to it in the marketplace.

You should send that picture to Nissan.

I like it. Maybe a little too much.

I was sold on a G35x but had two concerns, MPG and small size. I like a bigger car and do a lot of highway driving.

Since the G35x was at the top end of my price range, I am hoping when the G37 comes out, they don't jack the price up too much. They may push it out of my price range.

I can't take advantage of the good deals now as I have to wait about 6 months before purchase. If I can't get the G, I may have to sacrifice and get this.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Nissan is messing things up with these damn headlights/tailights. I don't like the way they did the new fx and i definitley don't like the way the max looks. Maybe time will help it grow on me but it didn't help with the sentra.

I thought that the new accord was ugly but this just brings it to whole new level

290hp to the fronts? And no mention of a limited slip differential. Also, no 6M/T while the Altima gets one yet the Maxima is the "4DSC". Nissan should have faced the facts and accepted the fact that the Maxima no longer has a place in their lineup except as a sportier alternative to the Avalon and the FWD domestics which is basically what the last gen car was. The styling says "return of the 4DSC" but the drivetrain and the specs say otherwise.

The side profile is hideous, while Lexus is moving towards a more aggressive styling in their luxury line up with low roof profile and stuff... I dunno what the heck is Nissian doing. Look at the front and rear overhangs.. it looks like even worse than an avalon

ACK! - Anyone else see this thing screaming

"I'm a BLAND Toyota!"

Not feeling this at all and I've always been a Maxima guy

it looks ok now.. but it definitely needs at least a 1-inch drop.. then add a front lip.. then it'll look fly

i agree, as much as I love Nissan bringing back 4DSC that hit big with the 3rd generation maxima, this new gen doesnt really fit the 4DSC profile. At least a 6MT should be offered, because a CVT with paddle shifters doesnt cut it IMO.

I really do like this body style more than the current generation, and im glad to see the maxima now offers more HP than the altima.

This maxima looks WAY better than the older ones. All of them looked like poop since 1995.

Not sure why you guys think this looks like an Infiniti when the maxima has been around since the Datsun/Nissan 810/maxima days back in what? 1983?

The Datsun 810 was the great, great grandpa to the G35 sedan. RWD, 4-door, 6 cylinder from the Z and Z underpinnings.
