it d be cool if it could be the next gen G35 ....er... G37 Sedan. they could make a GTR version like the M3 and a regular G37 sedan. Only coz it looks damn good.

Link to the article about the 4 door GT-R: http://www.leftlanenews.com/infiniti-gt-r-sedan.html and yes it is expected to be over 100K

Highly doubtful... it's going to be a 420 hp version of the 5.0L V8 in the FX50.

Naturally aspirated.

Performance is rumored to be so-so, with a 0-60 time of 5 seconds and a top speed of 170 mph.
For $20K+ more than a GT-R, it would have to do a lot more than just have two more doors and look better for me to even want one.

Is Infiniti trying to change their identity?

According to the article:

Auto Express says the new Infiniti model will do battle with the likes of the Porsche Panamera and BMW M5
I don't have an issue with a GTR based sedan, but I have an issue with Nissan's direction towards a flagship. Even if they build this car it still leaves a hole in their line up for a flagship sedan that competes against the LS, S Class, A8 and 7 Series.

Why not just offer a variant of the next generation M with the GTR's gearbox and AWD system if you want to compete against the M5.

I just don't see this car as being a true Q45 replacement.
