2011 Infiniti M Rendered
2011 Infiniti M Rendered
I'm surprised that no one posted this. The camouflaged car is actually the 2009 Maxima. However, those over at NICO who supposedly got an "inside preview" of the new M says that this rendering is pretty darn close. We'll see.

HA say that the upcoming Fuga will borrow heavily from the Nissan Essence concept car as shown at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. With pronounced and flowing front and rear guards, the design should incorporate many design cues from the Essence, particularly at the rear where the trunk shut lines and tail lights intersect, as well as incorporating a similar moulded trunk spoiler. So too the headlights may vary only slightly from the Essence concept car and the side profile may even incorporate the Essence concept car’s unusual side window sill detail.
IF the "stance" of the 2011 M isn't high(at least a tad lower), Infinti will have a commited buyer. For once, I would like to see a sedan from the factory (as base model)alittle lower "stance" than usual.

The rear probably don't end up looking THAT pointy and aggressive, but to me that's a good thing. That looks great.
I'll convince my parents to pick one of these bad boys up since it will be waaay out of my budget for a couple year to come.

Well according to Nakamura the influences you can expect on the M (and future models) are the Essence's grill design and headlight integration, fenders, the odd but different C pillar shape, and the rear including taillights and trunk shut lines. Now, the headlights from the Essence will probably find their way onto the M without much change. However, the Essence's grill and the grill in this rendering look nothing alike. I'm curious to know if Infiniti is planning on getting away from its current "waterfall" grill and going for the more solidly integrated design of the Essence. I definitely think the latter speaks more to luxury and premiumness.
