Billionaire's drive FXs
#16
although its true that when having billions of dollars, you wouldn't be caught dead driving a pos like a daewoo or something around that line, IMO, driving something old or less expensive gives it a kind of nostalgic feeling to everyday "richness."
I'd own mostly exotic and expensive cars but a side of me wants to fulfill my teenage dreams of building up a clean a** CRX, or tt supra, 72' datsun 240z (w/ a gtr motor perhaps ). i mean with all that money, i really can fix up those ol' classics that i grew up on. Wouldn't you guys do the same thing? Just bc you became a billionaire doesn't mean you still can't keep it real, right? I personally will still be driving a crx even if i'd have all those cars bc it was my first car, my "baby of all babies."

"Now, after waiting some 10 years, Gates can finally enjoy his other favorite Porsche: a rare (1 of 230) 1988 Porsche 959 Coupe. In fact, due to the 959’s questionable emissions and unknown crash ratings, it took a federal law signed by President Clinton for Bill Gates to legally drive his 959 on American roads. Rumor has it that Bill Gates and Paul Allen employed Microsoft engineers to write a computer program that could simulate the 959’s crashworthiness, which helped in the bill’s passage."
