Now we can get the 35. YEEEEEHA. Anyone recently pick up an 08? We are after one with Tech/Touring/and Hands Free.

Also, haven't seen whether then 09 will contain the new 3.7 or continue with the 3.5? Bueller??

This might be a good time to get your hands on an 08. They are going to be offering deals i imagine seeing as the new ones are going to be hitting showrooms very shortly.

08 FX35 0-60: 7.1
08 FX45 0-60: 6.2

09 FX35 0-60: 6.1
09 FX50 0-60: 5.2

If that matters to you at all, I'd wait for the 09

Yeah, the point was to save $ and get a better car for the same number as a Murano. Muranos are $550 a month with 600 down for an LE (12k miles 39 months). Pretty steep considering the old version was $440 a month. People want these Murano's they are the only SUV to sell more each successive year of their life cycle.

mayor - I'll definetely pm you. Need a white with wheat, tech, touring and hands free. I'll take or leave the dvd and ipod.

And wow - the 35 motor has improved that much over the 275 hp version. This thing isn't lighter in 09 I bet!

I think the 7 speed auto has a lot to do with the 09 FX35's improved performance numbers.

7 gears will do alot for off the line grunt but that is tremendous. I bet the axle ratio is high as well.

Same 3.69 rear as the S50 gen FX.

Just read the FX50 review. Nice car. - slightly smaller and just barely heavier with all that power.

Update: We are now back to leasing a Murano. She decided against being in the old style FX for the next three years and wants the fresher Murano. Except for the funky front end and the fact that the engine is not properly mounted in the car (longitudally), it offers even more creature comforts and is actually bigger inside when the seats are not folded. The auto fold down rear seats and auto lift gate are sweet.

Dealers in NJ seem to be moving down the price, volume slope in a favorable direction as we now are negotiating 530 a month when before we were looking at 620 for an LE.

PS I wish we could get a 4 cylinder to be honest with you. I just spent 75 bucks to fill the G. The Vue sure looks nice these days!
