Exclamation Which GAS to use?

Hello guy's, just wondering what everyone here puts into their tank (especially with the high gas price), I have been putting in 89 and it's been running great, any suggestions on why we need to use 91?

91 is the best. Use it, love it, be broke for driving long distance.

It sucks to put in $50 in gas and only get half a tank, do any members here have higher millage cars and are only putting in 89, I just don't want to cause any engine damage by putting in 89, I have been reading a few other boards and people are split between 89 and 91.

Don’t get me wrong, I love my FX and I knew that it wasn’t going to be cheap, just wondering if 89 is a problem or not. I am sure you get a little more pull with 91 though

Why not just use 91? When it comes down to cost, say even if you fill up a full 20 gallons, the difference between 89 and 91 octane is $2 per fill up. Spend the extra 2 bucks, have the peace of mind

use name brand premium as it is recommended for maximum performance. You are already spending alittle more for mid grade, why not just spend $1-2 more for premium?

Thanks guys, I have heard that there is a big difference in going from 87 to 89 but not much going from 89 to 91, is this true?

there is almost no difference between 87 and 89 but 91+ is always better as far as I know. I only put 93+
