Price for "new" 08 FX45?

First time posting on the FX forum.

There is currently a $8k factory to dealer incentive on 2008 FX45's. Most dealers I've called have very little inventory, but seem eager to deal these leftovers.

I'm getting quotes from $40 - $43k, depending on the presence of the TECH or rear DVD option. You think getting an extra $1-2k lower is possible?

Any suggestions about asking prices? What's going to happen to these cars when the $8k incentive expires on 1/5/09 ?

Any help is appreciated.

Sounds good, I got offered a 2008 FX 45 fully loaded for $45,988.00 which I thought was a rip.

OK guys, that "new" 08 FX45 is now $40k. I sense that the dealer is getting desperate.
It's crunch time. I let you guys know if I pull the trigger.
