Buying a 2006/2007 FX35 - I have questions

I will be purchasing a 2006 or 2007 FX35 for my girlfriend. I currently have a
G35 sedan. A few questions...

Should we purchase a FX with AWD? Does AWD lower MPGs? We live in Atlanta - so snow is not an issue. No towing or off-roading.

I am familiar with the tech/sport packages - were there any interior/exterior changes for the 2007 model?

Is the sport package a must have if price is not an issue?

Only the 2007 FX has factory ipod intergration?

Thanks for your help.

the AWD only lowers the MPG by 1mpg on the highway... it'll automatically be RWD under most dry driving conditions and retains a little better resale value.

as far as the '06 to 2007 Model year changes, they moved the TPMS sensor on the dash to the right side for 2007, 2006 models in the cluster it is on the left side of the dash.

2007's also had a digital clock readout in the center console standard, you need the Tech Pkg to get that for 2006.

2008's had the iPod integration but you can buy the accessory and just adapt it to the 2006's.
exterior-wise you shouldn't have any different from 06 and 07 or 08.

happy shopping
