FX guys help me out!

I'm traveling to Denver next month and the car I'm most interested in renting that's offered by any of the rental companies is an fx35.

I'm assuming is a 1st gen, but either way. My only question - does the FX come with any sort of cover over the "trunk"? I don't want to be driving around Colorado with the luggage completely visible to anyone. Most likely will be two large suitcases - so i'm hoping they'd fit and that if there is a cover that it'd cover both suitcases.

Let me know guys, thanks!

I don't know if there is a aftermarket cover but there are places on the seat backs and along the frame of the rear hatch where you can hook up a cover with bungees, clips, or string.

Do remember that the rear of the car has privacy glass which includes the two rear passenger windows and the rear hatch. It isn't easy to see inside but I understand the desire for extra security

There is a cargo cover available, not sure if the rentals have it as standard equipment.

Hertz in Denver. It's the only nice car I could find from any rental car company, all they have are the standard american junk

The '09's for sure. I'm not sure about the previous gen. I don't remember having that as an option. *shrug*

Yeah, i'll figure something out

the FX should be a great road trip car, right? May be taking a 1000mi + roundtrip to yellowstone from colorado.

What kind of mileage do you guys get?
And on the 35s, (probably an '08 or '07) is there an ipod auxillary jack or anything?
