I wonder if the tech pkg in Japan is different.
It could be that the JDM tech has a conflict but the N.Amer tech is OK.

I notice in the profile pic above that they have something added in the bumper gap.
A light and a horizontal trim piece.
Maybe their sensor is in a different location because of that.

 

I sent the fellow in Japan a pic of my sensors also. He has added those lights but it does look like something else is different there.

 

I got a PM back from the owner in Japan with that spoiler, he does not have the tech package.
Here is what it says on his instructions:


I have asked him if he can scan all of the install instructions for me. Perhaps I can get a better idea what the problem is.

 

Well I got a copy of the install from the FX owner in Japan. I'm sure the tech package will work with the front lip. The only problem I can see is glare from the spoiler interfering with the ICC sensor. If I find that the case, I will just apply a matte finish under the sensor on the spoiler to eliminate that.

So I have finally ordered the Aero Front Spoiler for my FX. I can hardly wait. It should go well with my fresh Eibach drop.
Here is a pic of a friend's FX (mrlerry) in Cali with the same spoiler and the same drop. I love it.

 

Installed my new Aero Spoiler, looks fantastic and I have not had any problems with my Tech Package (ICC) since the install.
