there is NO WAY that is 2k to fix. I have a dent on my driver side door that I almost fainted when I heard it would be 7-800 bucks. you need to gets some quotes from body shops, all u really very light body work n new paint-- same thing wit fixing dents but involoves a lot more sanding n work_

How many miles on the car? I would try to beat them in to buying the car back and getting a new one! Your car was painted in a factory... now it's going to have mismatched paint from a body shop? Why should you have to live with that? I can understand if it's a few years old... but basically a brand new car should be replaced with... well... a brand new car!

when you fix the side the body shop will have to blend the whole side of the car to match the paint to it's best. the price could be correct but make sure you go to a reputable shop -- you get what you pay for.
