Dealer likes to perform fluff maintance work. That's how they make money. Check the list of maintenance work they will be performing. A lot of those work might not be vital maintenance work to ensure proper performance. They call those extra work preventive care. It's bull****. It's basically saying oh it's not broken yet but it might be broken in the future. How long will it take before they break? We don't know but we recommend it to be safe.

I would get a list of their services and if any charge seems unreasonable, I would call and b*tch at Infiniti Consumer Affair. This is no different from ripping you off.

The 30K service is the most expensive and it typically runs between $550 and $600. They may also do things like a cooling system flush that will add about $150 to the bill or maybe a transmission flush that costs about $100.
You can probably get the bill down by over $100 to $200 by eliminating some work. Nevertheless, I firmly believe that it's a good idea to have your Dealer service your car. I always have and they are always in my corner when marginal warranty work comes up.

For friggin' $850, they better give you an air freshner. sheesh! Out here in SoCal, 30k service runs you $300 at the dealer.

I'm coming up to my 30K service, so I guess I need to call to check prices.

I won't need to do an oil change, since I just did that at 28500 (I'm off schedule on oil changes since I try to do it every 3K miles instead of 3750). Knocked off about $50 at 15K by not doing the oil change then.

I've also done the air filter today at the Nissan dealership when I did the oil. Don't know how much Infiniti would have charged, but it was dirty and had nearly 15K miles on it. Nissan charged $26, but the last time I had to change the filter on my truck, I thought I could beat the dealer price, and I think I ended up paying more on the filter than the dealer would have charged installed
