Interior Scuff - fixable? Part name to replace?

Well as the title says, I was trying to load something in the passenger seat of the G and I scuffed the pillar. I dont know exactly what part, or pillar name it is, however it is almost like it just peeled a bit of the suede off of the plastic pillar. The plastic under the suede seems like its the same color, and is in perfectly good condition. Take a look at the pics to see what I'm talking about:
The actual scuffs close up:

Distance shot of the piece damaged:

Stuff like this drives me completely insane, and my first inclination is to search for a replacement piece. Problem is things like this are never cheap (~$50 would seem like a stretch for this little plastic piece, to me at least). Any ideas what the piece is called that I need to replace? Just for online shopping purposes. Think it can be repaired?

Thanks for your thoughts!

That's the inside, passenger side, 'A' pillar cover.

Shouldn't be expensive at the dealer.

I guess I'll find out when I take it to see how much it will cost. Thanks for a good description of the part though, much appreciated!

Is there any point in getting a gauge pod if there isnt any F/I on the car? The reason I ask is that the driver side A-pillar is a bit scuffed too, and I wouldnt want to replace it if I would just end up getting a gauge pod down the road...

Thanks again for the help!

I just talked to the parts department at my local dealership, they quoted me $80 + Tax! I told him I'd have to think about it. I already know on infiniti-parts.com they are around $55, I would still think I should be able to get them for cheaper yet...

Optional
Pillars are labeled from the front of the vehicle to the back of the vehicle as A-pillar, B-pillar, C-pillar, ad infinitum.

Well, if you went with a guage pod (no FI) then you could still do oil pressure (wish that came with the car), voltage, and A/F ratio

Nice... Any idea how to get those sensors wired into the car? I'm sure the gauges aren't too expensive... but I'm curious how expensive the whole project would be.

Thanks for the info though!
