Hot air blowing to driver area
Hot air blowing to driver area
I just bought a new G35 Sedan. Everything fine so far but I notice after work during hot day, there is quite a bit of hot air blowing to the driver area. The air seems to be coming from the opening under the sterring colume where you find the handles to control the steering level ...
It doensn't happen in the morning only when leaving the car out in a hot day.
Anyone has similar problem?

Only solution for mine was to leave the A/C on low (econ. mode).

FWIW...
The other place for hot air entry is through the battery box.
The battery box is part of the air intake plenum.
There are several opennings from the box to the engine bay.
The fix was to seal with silicone.
Shine a light from inside the box... where the light leaks through; seal it up
