Still running the OEM one. I'd like something with a little better grip, but I've always liked leather-covered *****, so the OEM ones are hard for me to beat.

It's going to hit about 103 degrees F here today. The metal shift-pattern insert and collar get too hot as it is.

i was worried about the all metal ones like the nismo or n e thing that's pure metal... I know it gets really hot here in Fl and it would make those shift ***** really HOTT

I know exactly what you mean.
Its hard enough with the OEM **** on the shift pattern plate on hot weather that plate gets scorching

my oem one is just faded and i really don't want to put a rag on my shift **** everytime i step out to keep it from getting hot from the sun

I had a Nismo CF one and just took it off after a couple of weeks cuz I HATED IT!!!! Felt like crap! I like the round style shifters much better! It stinks cuz I love the way it looks but I just couldn't rip it. Very uncomfortable for me!

Man, mine got so hot that it burnt the pattern into my skin like Indiana Jones and the temple of doom. ha ha

isn't there like peice that connects the boot and the **** together or to make it flush that u purchase in the hardware store.. I think i saw it on the forums..

Yep my temp readout read 103 and 101 after 5 minutes with the window open.
AC on after 20 minutes still at 101.
My hand got scorched against the shift pattern I tried keeping my hand over it so the sun didn't hit and it would cool down

why would you guys cheapen your cars with some of these shift *****.IMHO I think the stock **** is the sexiest and one of the most comfortable ***** I have ever used. Anything else doesn't really match up to the quality of the steering wheel and just doesnt look like it belongs in the car.
