Mods That You Regret

Saw a great thread over on MY350z about mods that members have regretted installing/buying. I thought it would be some great information over here on the G35 forum.

my pop charger in over 95 degree weather, Makes nice sound and everything but lacks power on hot days, on the other hand it works very good in cold weather.

I don't think any intake works good in 95 degree weather.

stillen actually has a heatshield that is similar to the OEM, therefor it works great in all weather conditions.

The heat sheild only prevents the engine from heating up the air around the intake. It doesn't cool down the atmospheric air temperature. If the outside air is 95 degrees the air being taken in will still be 95 degrees.

regrets - cai, plenum, headers, pulley, cats, y-pipe, reducer cone, mid-pipe, spark plugs.

love my body kit, lowering springs, sways, rims, clear corners, 05 tails...

wish i got a s/c.

good luck! i was going to get that before i found out i was having another kid (to go with my vortech install that was also cancelled).
