Start date of warranty question

I bought my G used in 2005, it's a 2004. I am not sure when the car was bought new so I am wondering when the Infiniti warranty will run out.

Will the warranty run out on the same date as when it was bought new (3 years later) or will it be Jan 1 2007, as my dealer indicates? Any way I can find out the date from Infiniti? Not sure if it makes a difference but I'm in Canada.

Warranty usually has a milage or 4 years. If you have a 5at you will have 3 years/36,000 miles on the pads. I am not sure about the other warranty but I think its 4 years or 60,000 bumper to bumper. Unless the dealer gave you a special warranty when you bought the car. Hope this helps.

Warranty.................?

Just take your car into the dealership and ask them
how long your warranty is good for...........they might
not even charge you for the information.

The warranty should be from the date the car was originally sold. I would think that the dealer could get that info from Infiniti using the VIN (isn't it in their system?).

Yes, a good Infinity dealership will tell you.. or if you can carfax it.. its the date the car was sold originally.. I called one dealership.. they wouldnt tell me... second one, Massapequa Infinity (forum member works there) told me... in turn they earned my business by being cool... answer, yes a dealership should tell you...
