It increases the range significantly.
Too cool. I'm going to try this today. Flippy skirt, heels, Barbie hair, hand in the air, and clicking wildly away on the keyfob.
All I'll need is "I feel pretty" playing in the background.

...hope no one sees me!

No fillings and it works awesome for me. I been doing this for years, except with the gate opener, I press it the street before I get to the gate, never need to wait for the gate to open.

It depends on how gullible you are...
Just try it when no one's looking or you're going to have a major case of dork-itis.

I couldn't make it work and I tried twice. I must be a dork. Good thing, there's no one here to see me.

LOL! You can't be a dork. You live in one of my favorite areas of Alberta!
I spent quite a few summers driving from Edmonton to Jasper.
Got lost thinking I was going to Athabasca Falls and wound up north of Edmonton.
Awesome area and people. If it wasn't for those winters of yours, I'd be living somewhere in Alberta.

Don't you guys watch Top Gear? Don't look like a fool raising your arms and what not. Just put the remote to your head above your ears and it will work just the same.

North of Edmonton, yup, that's where I am. It really is a nice place providing the weather is good. I honestly don't know if I'll ever leave. The lifestyle of the big city is attractive for sure but things are too good here right now.

The Edmonton - Jasper route is great. We were coming back from BC this spring on a Sunday and the traffic was almost non existant. Very pleasent and easy to make good time.

I have been doing this for years, but than I wondered if it could have any long term effects on health. I know that sounds a bit paranoid, but just look at Cancer for instance. The number of cases of cancer that are genetic is a very small percent. Most cases of cancer are linked to diet or environmental causes.

Could this have any adverse health effects, who knows, but I won't be doing it any more.
