fix-it ticket

yesterday my friend (girl) was driving my car on the way back from sf to la on the 5 when we passed by a cop. he was parked on the side and we were in the fast lane. this was around 7pm. another cadillac 300 was in the lane next to the fast lane traveling at similar speed.

my friend slowed down siginificantly and it seemed as if the cop was gonna go for the cady, but he seemed to be blocked by these 2 trucks, he hesitated for a second before pulling behind my car and pulling us over.

he then proceeded to tell us that he pulled us over for going 88mph, and then later found that my friend was driving my car and that my window tint was illegal so he gave me a fix-it ticket for my window instead.

whats the process for correcting the fix it ticket?

You have to take out the tint and/or get it signed off by an officer to say that you removed the tint, take it to the court (on the ticket) and pay the administration fee.
