hey everyone,

I don't know much about cars, but this thing is driving me crazy. Every morning when I start up my car (it's like 80 degrees) I started noticing some kind of quiet wheezing or squeeling coming from the front. I have no idea what it is and it goes away after a driving for a few minutes, or at least i think it does. It might be coming from the belts but I have no clue. When I go back to my car it does it again. Does anyone know what this could be? Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I never heard this sound before. If I take it to the dealer it doesn't make noise so they're just like what are you talking about, but I def hear it when I start up my car!

 

take it to the dealer n turn it off n wait then turn it on...also could be ur ac??? or ur fan is one ???

 

Is your car stock or do you have anything under the good like intake or plenum spacer.
I agree with cali... it could be your ac or fan. I have lots of interesting sounds in the morning. I used to get rattling (found out that the stock muffler was doing this). I get, sometimes, noise in the morning especially with a cold start but it goes away in a few second. If the dealer is not helping you take it to another dealer. What is your millage? Has this been happening since you bought the car?

Are you leasing or did you buy the car?

 

my ac is never turned on in the morning, so I don't think it could be that....I'll try the dealer. I have warranty until next year and its completely stock. The only thing I put in was a K&N filter but this noise happened way after. Maybe it happened the whole time, cuz I always left the music loud

 

turns out to be the belt...i put belt grease on it and it stopped
