I think it's the way the Bolster presses on your wallet, but that could just be me.

Yes mine hurts and that is even with my wallet out. I basically have to rotate my body to sit mainly on my left side buttock to get relief for my right thigh. I have seen a couple of people on this site customize their driver seat by removing the seat controls and metal bracket that is inside the seat. You might want to give that a shot.

Yeah, I did that, but the foam starts to compress and stops working after a while. The OP might just need to give it a shot, it might actually work for him. Who knows.

some people with wider hips have this problem, I'm no skinney bone jones (6 feet 190 lbs) but my hips are that big so so far I've had no problems...some have even gone to the extreme of purchasing aftermarket bucket seats because of the discomfort. Poor design by infiniti indeed. And everytime someone comes into my car who hasn't been in doesnt know how to move the seats back or how to lean a little, it's always interesting to see their reaction to our "weird" seat controls..

Yeah!!! That is my favorite interior. I love it. I've seen it in your other posts. How is the driving experience now that you have had that hideous bracket out?

Yeah mine hurts after a long drive. Could have something to do with breakingmy right hip, pelvis and "sit" bone though...

Fantastic...
I'm going to play with the amount of foam in the bolsters,
just to fine tune a bit more.

The controls have worked out great too;
much easier to access w/o looking.
