Help! Freight Shipping CF hood
Hi all!
I'm trying ship CF hood. The best I got was 150 bucks!!!
From Stanton, CA 90680 to Houston, TX 77094
Dimension 58x58x5 weighs 55lbs
Self packaged or retail packaged.
Looking for the best rate possible with safe transportation.
Any suggestions for a freight company or other options?
Also how to package the hood safely
Thanks in advance!!

What ever you do make sure that the hood is in some type of carton container. They won't pick it up if it's not in some kind of a container. If you really want to be safe, get yourself a palate so they can't "hand delivery" the hood. A couple of good freight company out there are Old Dominion frieght lines and Abf frieght line. Especially ABF, they're trained to handle furniture. So they would handle your hood with extra care too.
There are tons of good frieght company out there, just look around for a decent price. But looking at your size, weight and where it's going I'm guessing will cost at least $200 from a good frieght company. Gl bro!

Anyways decided not to buy the hood. The guy was selling the hood on craigslist for $250 local pick up only at Stanton, CA. Its in great condition, never been put on. He's a very nice guy, he tried to work with me but after doing research on the shipping I gave up.
I found other alternative to fix my hood instead of getting CFs.
On top of that, I didn't get a good concensus on putting on CF hood on a G because it doesn't fit the G style which is luxury sport.
Luxury sports usually doesn't use CF hoods. ex would be Porsches, M3, S4s. Plus their stock hood are already lighter. CFs are too flashy. If you don't go all the way sports style and do it right than it doesn't look good. I was only planning to sublte mods so it won't work out.
The best look for CF on the G is on a Black G35.
that's just my 2 cents
