I have a coupe 6MT DG, so it looks nice, but nothing special and no one else thinks as it being special either. This isn't a Porsche, so I can't see why anyone would think this is a speed demon car.
+1... although i can't remember the last time i washed my coupe by hand. had a busy summer with job and house and can't be bothered with it. i think of this car as purely a commuter/grocery/beer getter for me. for fun i ride my bike.

yea i myself always had decent used cars but never anything new, and i bought those all myself as well. when i hit 22 i landed a real good job and got my first new car which was an 05 maxima, 10 months later one of my family members wanted a maxima and i didnt wanted a diff car so they took over my lease ( which is still in my name) and now i have the G as well.

This is why parents shouldn't give their young ones such a high powered vehicle:

I just bought my G35 a few weeks ago at 21 years of age. I'm Chinese too and surprisingly my parents and their friends don't give me too much flak about street racing, etc. Maybe it's because I've been driving for six years now and only have one speeding ticket, or maybe it's because they haven't seen the car since I got it bone stock.

Just keep your cool, drive safe, and eventually they'll get their heads around the idea that just because you're young doesn't necessarily mean you're going to be reckless.

i seem to act more like a dick when in the G... I have this stupid look on my face like i'm all cool and shyte..

Its funny how I put on my sunglasses, my "nice" watch, and hat forward with the window down and my elbow out, when I'm in the G, but when I drive my civic hatch, my windows are up, my hat is backwards with no glasses or watch on. haha I'm such a *****

hmm.. I am 22, been in the navy for 5 years, had my first car when I was 4, brand new 911 porsche cabriolet. Dad spoiled my hobbies. bought my sister a 71 mg midget convertible and then restored it, she sold that then bought my other sister a 71 super bettle- I was stuck with restoring that too! Oh I was 14 then. I built my first motor when I was 12. It was a 454 the only thing I didnt do by myself was bore it, machine wash it, and polish the valves. I put it in my "official" first vehicle after blowing up the 396 while on a test drive after replacing the th300- 71 chevy 3/4 ton pickup, long bed. 4.11 posi, th400, swaped out the bed from a flat bed to a 92 bed (lighter than oem) my truck was stolen while deployed last year by my ex wife; I raced the shizit out of it too, 13.4 seconds on the quater mile. For my 16th birthday my dad bought me a 87 corvette. He passed away 2 months later, none of the family believed that he gave me the vehicle, so I re bought the car, mind you this is after spending 10g's on restoring and upgrades. have restored a 85 4runner- lifted would be an understatement I now drive a 01 tacoma which I have managed to get more reckless driving tickets and speeding tickets in than anything else I have ever owned and its the slowest vehicle in the flippin world! I am buying a g35 next fall, inless my orders for japan go through then I will wait tell I get there. I loved making people eat there own words when they would get a ticket in a pos escort and there I was with a rumbling big block or a rumbling vette... at 16. I cant stand people that cant even change there own oil but own a vette, or a g35, or something really nice. But that is just my 2 cents...

My parents bought me my first car when I was 18, a 1987 Toyota Corolla. Thats where it stops as to what got given to me. On my 7th car since 2001 (long story) and the progression ended up with a G35 Coupe. You wont completely understand the value of an object unless you pay for it yourself.
