On:edit, yeah my g friend just told me the skyline is the GTR, I know about those cars as I wanted one for a while an r34... those are sick cars.. handle better than the mustang cobra and have plenty of potential... don't know anything about the new ones though
And yeah the land rover prob would be faster, in two feet of snow... haha...

What like threads where I ask questions and give you guys props? Yeah this is what happens whenever I take the time to register on a cool cars forum... I like the g35, thought that was clear...

I really dont see where he has been starting any trouble here at all. Just sharing his knowledge of his vehicle and other stangs. i see it a lot that people dont know enough about the vehicle theyre up against. And just assume things, or assume every model is the same etc. Thats why i like to know about most performance vehicles on the road that are close competition and what will easily beat me. I appreciate his advice and i think we should too.

I also give them the thumbs up if their ride is nice, and they just point and laugh at my mullet car... WTF..

Thanks for all the nice comments guys, my friend told me about his g so I figured I'd come over here and check them out as I've always loved the cars, so slick looking...
So I'm a poser because I'll run on the street from time to time? G owners are more mature because they won't blast off a light for fun? By that logic does it make the f430 owner, "immature" for running me and having a good time? I'm willing to bet I have more time on a real, "drag strip/road circut," than you do... But then again that's only a wild assumption, lemme know if you've dragged on a track over 300 times or been to any type of racing school because I have and still appreciate a blast on the street... Hey if you have track experience that's awesome, just saying running from a light for fun and being a poser are not related at all... In-fact, it makes almost no sense...
Just because most land rover owners are soccar moms means what? I had my car off road in NH this weekend, so that's a pretty awesome assumption on your part genius... Several SUVs, a jeep, and a few pickups... My land rover and the jeep that was there were the only two cars out of the bunch that didn't have issues making it up some of the huge mud covered hills... I had to pull a f350 out of a hole it dug itself into going up a hill, lol... Although I didn't buy it for, "off road," I bought it so when newengland gets 2 feet of snow I can still make it to work/school on time... Plus I just love these cars, is that an issue for you?
With the exception of you and a few others... the g35 camp is full of pretty cool owners apparently... Looking forward to coming out to some meets with my g35 friend next year

I think to reply to your original question... Most G35 owners don't really race period. Those who do race your will probably only find them at the track unless its a 16 year old kid that just got his licence... I have a couple G35 friends that track heavly. So if you realy wanna test out that cobra... try out the track... Its alot safer and alot more fun...
on the track .. you don't have to hold back!

As for the street, I don't drive like a maniac, never had a speeding ticket in the stang, the most fun I ever have on the street is limited to a quick run off a light, or a quick roll on the highway... but yeah street racing isn't safe at all, sometimes you just get caught up in the moment of it...
i dont race often...only my friends that own civics integs...haha cuz they wanted to race me...but otha than that...car is for show...and if i need to go fast i do since work/school....plus im usually on filipino time
