Sponsorships?

Ive seen several people mention the've gotten parts through sponsorships. Anyone have any information on this subject? Im almost 100% sure im F/I my car this winter and a discount/sponsorship would be ideal. Anyone have info on what is involved in this, or any vendor on here looking to sponsor a car for a turbo or supercharger set up.. thanks guys

Just signed up! See what happens. its worth the shot, it says if u get full sponsorship u can get parts for free and all u gotta do is wear shirts or hats and hand out pamflets and stuff at any car show u go to, and a visible company logo on your car. Ill go to the guys house and mow his lawn if get parts for free man. I'll put the biggest fVckin (removeable) company logo on my car ever too lol. haha we'll see almost too good to be true!

i just had connects from one shop and then they got me sponsors from all various companies for a few of my show/race cars. it depends how far you really want to go -- if you daily driven, show only, race/show, etc...almost like trying to get a job you just need a nice resume

check the small print. some will require you to attend certain shows and/or hand out x amount of flyers. not doing so may result in fines, fees, or payment of parts that are supplied. theyre not stupid either, put yourself in their shoes. would you give out a couple of turbo kits to some kids to put on their cars and not do anything for you?

There was another thread about sponsers... all the sponsered guys said that was BS and gave you crappy sponsors or something... mentioned something about going to a thing called SEMA, with a portfolio of your upgraded car and work you've done in the past.
