So, I was installing my winter setup.

I was putting on the last and final lug nut, the freaking thing spun! I stripped the stud. Do you think I can re-thread it with a die? Or will I have to get that replaced. Its just like 2-3mm thats stripped. I'm so sad. Anyone know what size stud those are? maybe M10's? Someone help me. What should I do? Aghhhhhh

 

You might be able to re-thread it. Not sure on the size.

 

Just replace the stud. I don't think it's that involved but you may need some sort of press or puller to take the stud out. Maybe the tool is rentable at Autozone or Pepboys?
