backed up into another car
While in a rush and under some stress I jumped in my car and next thing you know.... BAMMM!!! I look in my rear view mirror and the mirror was all blue! My brain said whu? BAMMM!!! It hit me (mentally), I had backed up into my relatives parked SUV. Nothing happened to the SUV. My car on the other hand dented its bumber so much it tore. It even got a dent on the trunk and broke part of the rear lights.
So, I've backed up a million times and the day I don't look in my rearview I hit something. To top it off, I had just removed all kinds of mods to sell my car. Moreover, I had a couple interested buyers already! What should I do?
If I claim it to my ins. will they raise my premium? Will they add a point to my DVM record? Can I say someone hit it at a parking lot?
Either way, seems I'll be staying with this one a bit longer. OH! what about trading it in with the dented rear bumber and trunk?
I got an 05' sedan premium/sport/nav with 75k miles.

i feel your pain...
with state farm ... if the estimate doesnt exceed $1000..then they wont raise ur premiums... they have no control over ur DMV record lol
Saying someone hit it while it was parked is insurance fraud (but in the case that it actually did happen, than it would be a hit and run and be covered under comprehensive... you wouldnt pay a premium no matter the cost and would only have to pay your deductable
