2004 6mt sedan.
I feel better now that I'm not the only one getting grim mileage. 20 mixed, 21-22 if I granny drive (never happens), 16-17 city
My 2005 RAV4 AWD 5mt daily driver gets 21-23 easily and I redline often and drive it hard.
My Bro recently got a 335i and we picked it up in Germany and we easily got 22-23mpg driving through Europe mixed with average highway speeds between 80-100mph. It wasnt't even broken it fully. I had to wait to 10K to get to my full potential of still crappy mpg.
When looking for an '08 I will weight this in pretty heavily.

I would say I get around 20 of mixed highway/city. I remember way back when Car and Driver did a comparo with th G35 against a bunch of cars with the like of Acura TL, Saab, Alfa, BMW,... and their reported fuel comsumption is abour 18 - 20mpg for all cars so given the technology (non direct injection), I think our G35 is about average.

i get around 16-18 mpg. (city)
i dont know about you guys, but i always reset my Miles (A) everytime i fill up.
my Miles (B) is my OVERALL driving miles from the day i got it. i have 3000+ miles on it but 27 of that is from the dealership deliverying my car.
to make it simpler (sp?) of what i'm talkin about.. my odometer is at..
3157
miles [A]: 163
(about 1/2 tank)
miles [B]: 3130
anyways, back on topic, when i fill up my tank all the way i get about 300 avg. miles to be on E. if i fill up half way, my next fill up would be around 140 avg. miles.

I got just over 400 a few times 415 or 420 once, REALLY hard to do, but possible. I usually get about 350 - 370 now that I used the car only on the weekends in much less traffic.
Oh and if you have a 6mt you almost never save more gas........or at least I don't cuz I'm more tempted to drive hard, but that's just me. lol
