Tire fitment for 19 x 9.5" TE37

I searched the boards but wasn't able to find anyone running 315/25/19 on the G. I have heard of 305/30/19 but not 315/19. Is this too wide? Will there be a fitment issue? rubbing? Can the wheel take that big of a tire? Thanks a bunch in advance!

Do you really need to go THAT wide?

315/25 will NOT fit on a 9.5" rim....

Thanks, I was thinking more 305/30 especially from a price perspective. I wanted more of a bulge instead of the stretch look. Even the 275 looks a little stretched to me.

Much of that depends on the tire as company A's 275 will be wider than company B's 275.

The max I would go on a 9.5" is probably 285 to 295. It will definitely be bulging regardless of what brand you go with. Bare minimum width for a 305 is 10 to 10.5" IMHO.

thanks 295 would be my 2nd option if i can't get the 305s on there. I'll have to ask the tire guys and see what they say.

Holy crap how much power are you guys putting down? I ran 235/40/18 on my 300whp rx7 and never had any traction issues, going with some 255's for the 400whp single setup im doing now........

That's too wide for 9.5 inch wide wheel.

I would recommend no more than a 255/35/19 on that size.

I run 19x9.5 front with 255/35/19 and 19x10.5 rear with 275/35/19 (next tire set will be 285/35/19).

9.5 wheel works with 275 width tires.

Ive got Michelin PS2 265/35/19's on my front 9" wheels and 275s on the rear 10.5" wide wheels. The 265s are bulging and 275s are stretched. Id say for a 9.5", 285 would be bulging, 275 would be a fair size to put on there. Theres almost no way you could get a 315 or 305 on a 9.5" wheel

Fat City....................

Putting 275s on a 9" rim is a perfect fit! I've got 275/35s on my 10 1/2"
Volks and I could have gone larger to a 295 but I'm good with what I'm
running.....with H-Techs coming soon.
