Speedo Correction help
Hi everyone did a search on it but didn't come up with anything on it.
Quick question? I have a 05 G35x sedan on stock 17s but will be getting 19s for it. Just wondering if the speedo will change and by how much will it be off? Can it also be corrected and by who? Tire size I'm getting is 245/40/19 Kumho tires. Thank you for your time newbe here.

If your 19 setup is the same aspect ratio as your stock 17's, you shouldn't have any problem....as long as the diameter of the tires don't change you will be fine....
Look in the wheels/tires section, they will have a wheel/rim calculator that will give you an idea of what effects changing tire sizes will have on your car/speedometer.
A rule of thumb is to keep the diameters within a 3% margin, this will ensure you will have no problems with your VDC/ABS sensors Kicking in all the time...
hope this helps.....

Your speedometer will only be about 1.5% too slow which is not a problem.
Here's a tire calculator link to compare tire sizes.
