Question about 06 Projectors

I was looking to get a set of 06 projectors. For those of you who have the set that are being recalled, can you tell they're defective w/ the lighting? Should I wait until the modified 06 projectors are out?

there is no official recall as far as i know. someone posted that recall thing but it was not by nissan/infiniti, to my knowledge.
