Need suggestions on prepping body parts.

Gialla grill, rear deck spoiler and Impul side skirts finally on the truck.
3 months of waiting!

I want to start prepping the parts for painting to help my body shop guy. What grit sandpaper should I use?

Everything is poly.

Leave it to the body shop, inexperienced sanding can lead to waviness in the final product due to uneven pressure applied

for poly just wash with dawn or dove to remove mold release that could be present on the pieces. Then use a 3m red scotchbrite with soap on it and go over the pieces ligthly until when they are dry that they are dull in color.
