You'd think I'd be happy right?

I'd just like to say hi to all you folks out their who share my disgust with myself, and probably yourselves too. I just bought this car,new to me,and since it came out has been my fixation. I mean who can argue with these lines and performance right. Even the 2003 is nothing to shrug off with these newer sports cars. Having just come from a 2004 mazda 3s hatchback which was a 5spd,was light, and I put quite a bit of money into it. Custom Work emotion cr kai's,vibrant full catback exhaust, ebc full brakes, and big rotor kit, injen cai, vibrant front strut bar, rear progress sway bar,and so forth. My old car was quick with it's weight being around 2600lbs for what it was. I could scare folks in the turns, but I always had folks trying to run me on the highway, now no one bothers me much. So you think now I'd be happy and satisified with what I have. Nope already started the freaking parts run again. I just ordered the jwt popcharger/ztube combo with all new lights coming too. Next it will be rims, then body pieces(car that is),then the turbo, and loads of engine parts to go. AAM ecu reflash and so forth.Probably just drive the hell down there and do it there. So with what the car has, you'd think I'd be happy, yet no,I'm going to yet again drain my account dry til I have what I want, which will probably be never. I could win the damn lottery and get a ferrari and probably still blow 10k on a twin turbo setup or something like that,or on a 996 and opt for a ruf. I give up,I will never be free of this. Atleast now I have the car that I've always wanted to build,so begins another long process, and I'm disgusted to know I will be broke most of my life due to this car haha.

Ha Haa hhhaaaa.......you are completely normal. if you see on this board, soooo many of the members get the bug, and theres' no stopping it once it bites you.

If altering and improving your cars is what makes you happy....damn...go do it!
You can always make more money......so go and have some fun.

And don't forget to post some pics as your car evolves....

Good luck, enjoy, I have to go and start up an aftermarket parts supply store!

I've had my G35 roughly two months now and seems like it's forever getting some wheels for it. All my previous cars had new wheels and mods within the first week.

Maybe i'm just getting old but wheels and mods seem so out of reach. Although it'd sure be nice to get my hands on some.
