Oil Changes (Not from dealer)

Wondering if anyone knows the answer to this question.

If you go get an oil change from a garage (not an Infiniti Dealer), does that void your warranty?

I was told just as long as you keep all your receipts for the work done, then it's okay and it doesn't affect the warranty at all.

it doesnt affect your warranty whatsoever. The shop that you take it to will have the transaction on record as well, so you dont really HAVE to keep your receipt's but its a good idea.

Just make sure they did use what Infiniti recommend oils (weight/type), and correct size/model or part number.

Federal law does not allow a vehicle warranty to be voided because you do the regularly scheduled maintenance with a non-factory dealer repair shop. They MAY require some parts to be OEM specification (as in JMattic tranny fluid).

Just keep all of your receipts.
