Basic Warranty Question

Does the basic warranty cover items like external bulbs? The only reason I asked is that the small round orange light that is above the main headlight is burnt out on my car. It only has 3800 miles on it so Im sure that it was just a bad bulb. Just wondering if I should spend the time (one hour) to fix it or should I have the dealer fix it on my next trip.

Are burnt out bulbs covered? If they are, I'd say just have the dealer do it!! Damn, one hour is a long time to change a bulb.

Up here in the Great White north, stuff like that is covered for a year or 12k miles.

Ok I don’t know that it will take me one hour. However someone else on this board stated that it took them ~ 45min to change one fog light, they had to remove the air filter box. Maybe I don’t need to remove it for the orange light, but Im not sure. Im not even sure what the orange light is, is it the turn signal?

Bumper to bumper - I would have the dealer fix it assuming it's convenient. The warranty doesn't cover "wear items" like brakes, but lights should be included.

The small light above the headlamp is the parking lamp. According to the factory service manual, you remove the fender protector and then you can simply remove the bulb. The ones that require removal of the air filter box are the fog lamps and turn signal.
