Hello All,

I'm about to buy a 6MT coupe, and am considering special ordering it. Does anyone have insight as to how this process works? Can I get a better price by ordering it? Does the dealer ask for a deposit? Do you negotiate a trade-in at time of order? or when you pick up the car? Is it better to negotiate over the phone or in person?

Please help!

I special ordered my car (06 6MT sedan with navi). Paid invoice :-) Left a small refunadable deposit ($500) but the wait was a biotch...3 months +!!!
