Was that 55000 kilometers? If so, then the average is probably over 15000 kilometers/year. Our service schedule is based on 15000 miles/year.
My 04, purchased September 2003, has about 37000 miles on it.

I've driven my previous 3 cars 6 1/2 years, 6 years, 8 years (all were used when I started driving them). So the not quite 4 year old G35 isn't that old yet to me.

I also have an 11 year old pickup I purchased just over 5 years ago.

since the G37c is ugly (unless my mind changes by seeing it in person) - I will be waiting for the 3.7 to get a yr or 2 old (hopefully OEM ST or TT)... that will be the time to retire/sell this car.

Old is 80,000-100,000+. But we are all car freaks and love to change cars once every year or two if at all possible so we'll find any excuse to get into something new/different.
