Tinting a car dark really makes the car stand out more. I wish the law wasn't so enforced.

cops in SC could really care less about tint. lightest i've had on any of my cars was 5% and never got any problems with it.

You guys are lucky . I got 5 tickets the first two weeks the tint was installed and it was 35% driver and 20% rest .No tint on front. NYC is real bad . I would never do 5% and lower though anyway . How do you guys see at night . Iv had 5% on my rear a long time ago and could not see anything out the rear view at night .

That's insane. I've never had any trouble. Had 6 cars.. 2 with 5% all around, then 20% all around, then 20% on the sides and 5 in the rear, with 35% on the windshield... then I had 15% on the sides with 5% in the rear... now I rock 15% all around and 50% on the windshield (my favorite so far).

Seeing out has everything to do with the quality of tint your guy uses. I paid extra for a "premium grade" tint.. and even at 15% it's easy enough to see out of that inside the car it doesn't seem dark to me at all.
