Thanks!
The warmer tone of the willow interior gives you more options. Some of the wood textures and colors would be really hot with willow.
Check out the woods in their selection: http://www.sherwooddash.com/Parent/materials.asp
The OEM Rosewood or the Honey Burl might be the ticket.

I like the way many of you have personalized your car, regardless if we like it or not.......
I had a wood kit installed on my old I35. In my opinion it really needed it to dress up the rather bland interior appearance. But, unfortunately, in NJ, The seasons bring temp fluctuations, and with that came the smaller pieces lifting and peeling off.

I was disappointed with the quality, but who knows what kit the dealer installed.

I have been wanting to get wood for my interior for quite a while.

I probably go with the real burl wood kit on that link.

to buy the factory wood trim is very expensive.....

Anyone have pics of the willow dash with a trim kit?
How much do these kits sell for?

people here are all up about over lays w/3m tape. your entire car ouside emblems & logos are held on by 3m tape. if it sticks to the exterior iam sure it will stick to the interior trim pieces. any one who has done any mods on tha g knows infiniti uses a lot of cheap parts. ie the dead pedal support is packing material stroyfoam(probably spelled wrong) & the shift **** trim is not chrome or stainless steel but painted plastic. the passat wolfsburg edition i own the dead pedal is steel & all the interior materials are first rate/nice removale rubber pads for bottom of all storage spaces/cup holders, ect. & suede lined storage compartments. we are paying for the engine & drivetrain in this car.

with that said i'll be installing a dash kit overlay to my g & will post my impressions & pics. i hope iam right! am a perfectionist so i will accept only quality overlays.

let me try first. it is being custom laser cut in new york. should have it installed in less than a week. iam going w/a brand new color "grey rosewood"
i have a black interior i think it will look goood!

if its succesful i will pass along all the compnanies info including owners name as a contact.

p.s. iam thinking of posting a diy on installing a auto dim/homelink rearview mirror if your interested.(takes like 15 minutes) i got an 08 x base on purpose.

i don'y need a mechanical steering column/or memory seats as iam the one who drives it 99% of the time.

i do however hate people riding my a-- with high intensity beams.

i thought about cf but it's so tacky (maybe if i owned a mustang) but an infinity should have a mix or sport & luxury. this is all my personal opion.

i have owned four infinities & my favorite was probably my j30 loved that car!

I like it - classy looking. I know pictures can be deceiving, but without seeing it in person I like the grey burl. Classy. Now I'm thinking about upgrading my willow interior with some kind of wood. The willow interior with satin trim I have is pretty boring.
