What percentage is your tint?

What percentage is your tint?
I'm going to get my windows tinted tomorrow and I'm not sure what I want to go with.
I'm thinking 20% (which is illegial where here in Florida) all around and I'm not sure whether to have the visor done.
Any input would be helpful, I'm driving a 2006 Black on tan coupe.

I have 20% all around on my coupe and I have to say that it's very helpful. I have very sensitive eyes, partially due to surgery many years ago, and the tint helps enormously to dim the sun shining through the side windows. I actually got the tints purely for aesthetics, but this was an added bonus.
In MD anything below 35% is illegal (factor in the stock tint and you'll have to bump your aftermarket tint a bit higher). However, I have had the same film on my vehicles since 2001 and never had a problem. Admittantly, I don't have many aftermarket parts or drive super agressively in downtown areas. Oftentimes when a cop pulls you over and hands out a fix-it ticket for tint, it's usually because he/she noticed something else first (heavy visual mods, loud exhaust, speeding around, etc.).
In any case, I highly recommend the tint. Not only is it one of the most cost-effective ways to improve the image of our cars, but you'll probably find you can drive a bit easier in the day. Go with the visor strip too. A reasonable place will not charge you more than $20 extra unless it's part of some premium service (ceramic for instance). As for percentage of tint, 35% isn't a huge improvement over stock in the visual department. It is noticeable for sure, but it doesn't have that "dark" tint look that many are looking for (especially in daylight).
Good luck!
