2005 G Sedan - Splash Guards

I have a 2005 G35 Sedan. While I was looking around on the lot at the time, I didn't notice some of the cars had splash guards. Then I saw a few around town that had them. Was/Is this a factory option? What's your opinion of them (like/dislike)?

Thanks!

It was an accessory. I personally think that it looks good, especially the rears.

I've got them on my 06X and I think they're great. To me, the car just doesn't look right without them... Mine have got a few dings on the inside as well so I know they've saved me from at least a couple of errant rocks that have been kicked up by these cheap-*** factory tires.

The only downside is that you've a bit of work ahead of you if you plan to install them yourself because if your car didn't come with them then you're going to need to drill the necessary holes and you'll probably have to remove each wheel to get a drill in there.

Thanks for the posts. I think I will pick some up now that I have looked around. ...they do look like they complete the car for some reason.
