What do you mean lock popped? Did they punch it in to get the windows to drop?

btw how much do you think this is going to cost me to repair. i cant get my key in the drivers door anymore and i cant open it from the outside, it seems like the handle is disengaged. Does simply pushing the lock in make the windows go down?

You can roll down your windows by putting in your key, turning it to unlock the doors, and hold it for a few seconds in that "turned" position for a few seconds. No car is hard to break into if someone wanted to get into your cars.
