umm.. just buy the same mods that you were going to buy with the 6mt... the 5at aren't even that much "slower" or whatever compared to the 6mts... but way to complain about a 35k+ car to be given to you..

its like manual shift, but without the clutch. reacts a little slower without a valvebody upgrade. You can have tons of fun upgrading a auto. plenum spacer, intake kit (short ram), exhaust kit for starters.

 

DG...it's a very rare color out there so be careful of picking your mod...congrats on new car

Whats your budget? and what type of "performance" are you looking for? engine mods or suspension/brake? you can go all out with built motor with twin turbo/super charger set up, or storker kit(sp?), Nitrous would offer best "bang" for the buck, maybe just some simple bolt-ons like intakes, exhaust, headers, reflashing ECU...? Check out some of the forum's sponsors and see what kind of parts they offer for G35.

As for rims goes? again we dont know what kind of taste you have or budgets, bling bling like 24" chromed or bit more main stream like Volks, works, iForged, DPE, HRE...ect, since you in LA? goto SoCal forums and check out when are some upcoming meets, and you can see different type of rims in person at meets and see what is best suited for you.

I suggest buying one of those electric superchargers on ebay and those little "chips" on ebay too.
