I think the sedans are still nicer. It seems the coupes are nice and all, but it's not a revolutionary change like when the 07 sedans first came out. Everything was different and was new - every curve, every toy, every feature just seemed exciting and fresh. The coupe on the outher hand doesn't seem as exciting because we've seen most of it already in the sedan. The interior is very similar, the exterior, although sexy, IMO is not all that different except for the front end. Just my .02.

 

I have yet to see the G37 in person, but I'm still partial to my sedan.

 

Seen one, looks kinda tallish. All pre-purchased so no playing

 

It looks a bit too round, like a Audi TT. A little "feminine" for my taste.
The sedan looks more "masculine."

I got to play yesterday and I wasn't really impressed...

The brakes are insane, the exhaust is as loud as it should be, handles like a dream... BUT...

It actually feels slower than my sedan b/c all the power is pushed up top so around town the sedan feels faster. Also the steering isn't as tight and heavy as my sedan. Don't know if it was just that car (it was the 1st one they got for the premiere) but at top center my sedan felt tighter. Its a great looking car and all but I was even considering trading the sedan in on it but eh, after driving it I don't see that happening.

 

The front end looks way to much like the sedan imo....i don't like it....i like the new rear and the way they did the fender flares...interior is soo much nicer than on my 07 coupe, but hey its to be expected there, haven't driven one yet so i can't comment on anything else really...there's my $.02 on the subject.

 

Both the '07 sedan and the '08 are clearly evolutionary from the previous generations.

You sound like you're still caught up in the dream of your new sedan since the '08 Coupe has everything it has and more - like a new bigger engine. I can't understand how you can love the sedan so much more only because it was first with the interior changes, toys, curves etc.

i like the coupe, but i like the sedan more also. I was in the market for a new car a month ago, and was deciding on getting a coupe or sedan. After reading all the C&D reviews, and looking at pictures of both for 2 weeks straight. I decided on the sedan, both of them look sexy, and the ~25 hp difference didn't make much of a difference to me, when i can't comfortably bring my friends along with me, and can't fit luggage in the trunk for a road trip. The g37 is sexy, but so is the g35

 

Both cars look equally good to me, although I've only seen pics of the G37 so far.

sedan is deff hotter this time.

Now them sedan folks have something to be proud of. Cuz previous model just sucked.

Coupe is still the ugliest car out of all INIFINITI line.

 

I am not a huge fan of the G37 even in person, its nice inside but I dont know it keeps screaming "toyota solara" to me. I still like the G35 coupe, then sedan then g37.

 

Well I guess its a good looking toyota solara. I honestly think the G37 looks better than a G35 and I own a G35. The black G37 is one of the tightest colors.

 

While I like my 05 G coupe more than the G37......I say hold judgement til exterior mods like spoilers, side skirts, rear diffusers, roof spoilers..etc become avail for the new 37, maybe after adding on a few of these mods, the 37 will be less"round" and look a bit more "sporty".... til then I'd rather not "hate".....such a strong word
