Probably many of you don't know your keyless remote control can open windows.
By holding down the UNLOCK button more than 3 seconds, your G will open all windows until you release the button.
To me it's useful, like you forgot something in your car. You can walk closer to your G and open the windows at the same time. Get your stuffs inside the car.

Anyone know what this function is actually for? I don't think it's designed the way I do. How can I close windows using the keyless remote control, too?

The function is really good on a hot day. It helps get the superheated air out.

I believe KPtechnologies, aka KPierson on this forum has a module you can install so when you push the lock key on your FOB twice, it will automatically roll up the windows.....I think the module also will lock your doors when you drive at speeds of 5mph or more....He may have one for auto sunroof closing as well, and a override module for the fogs on only......... Well i for one didn't know about that lol...but then again i've only had my G for about a month..

 

For the '07 G35, to put up all the windows you have to use the actual mechanical key thats located inside the i-key.

Just put the mechanical key in the keyhole and hold it in the lock position for a few seconds.

 

You can do that on all year/models G35's. The OP wanted to know if you could have the auto up feature used with the Key Fob.

To the best of my knowledge, KPtechnologies is the only company that has the modules to allow the auto up feature with you factory Key FOB.

Really, just enjoy it for what it is.

 

Kptechnologies has a mod for everything...roll-up window module, sunroof open/close module, 5mph door locks, when you back up your mirrors can lower like expeditions, you can also do the electronic beep instead of the horn honking when you lock your car or open it.
