05-07 Sedan or Coupe?

New here and wanted to get an opinion on both models of the G35 since I will most likely be buying one soon. I am looking for an 05-06, but if I can't find one cheap enough I will just go ahead and get the 07.

I rarely have other people in the car, if I do, it's usually just one. Really only use the extra space in my current car for groceries, so as far as more storage, I don't think it matters.

From what I've read on here, the performance is about the same? I've read mixed reviews on the head space on the coupe, so I guess I will have to test it out myself in the next few days.

Is there anything else that I should consider in trying to decide between these?

I am FAR from an expert in anything automotive, but here's my opinion:

'05-'06: Definately get the Coupe. the body lines are far sexxier and it's plain eye candy even in stock form. i'm not trying to upset anyone, so don't take it the wrong way, just my opinion, okay??

'07's.... hmmm that's tough one... i have the coupe, my wife has the sedan, and it is sexxy as hell! i love the new body lines of the '07 sedans. plus it has way more room, bigger trunk and the VQ35HR is so responsive it's never ceases to amaze me!

but like i said... these are just my opinions! aloha! LOL

My fiance and I just bought a coupe last thursday then got an 07 sedan yesterday. I think the sedan is 306hp at least the S model is. I dunno if there are differences or not. Anyways, they are really 2 majorly different cars. The sedan is no slow poke by any means and the ride is very smooth and quiet. The system sounds great and they have paddle shifters on the steering wheel if you feel like driving it like a sports car. Not to mention 07 is the new body style and interior. I love it. No doubt about the coupe being way more sportier. You can feel the suspension difference just backing out of your driveway. You will just have to go test drive them both and see for yourself. These are just my recent expeirences. Not even a weeks worth so like I said, See for yourself. Regardless of what you choose you won't be dissappointed.

If your going 05-06 coupe ftw

but the 07 sedan is amazingly sexy. I would trade my coupe in for one any day.

Less problems with Sedan. More drama with Coupe.

What problems are those?

Thanks for everyone's opinions, I will test them myself hopefully by this weekend. I'm still not sure I wanna go 07. I want to keep my financing @ around $500/month with 0 to very little down. I did get preapproved @ Infiniti.com for $650/month.

Test drive all of them. My opinion:

07 sedan is the best because its the newest...best motor of the bunch (new VQHR)

05-07 coupe handles better than any of the sedans due to more aggressive suspension tuning and tires but ride is compromised

05-06 sedan will probably be cheapest due to lower resale but will also be easiest to find due to supply

Again, test drive all of them and the differences will be very clear.

I agree with the others; the 07 sedan is sharp. Sounds like a coupe would suit you well also. I have an 07 coupe and like it other than the headroom. I am 5'11" but have short legs and a longer torso. My head hits the roof if I don't lean my seat back farther than I prefer.
