Question about repairs and warranty

My friend's relative got into an accident and was wondering if the car is not repaired by Infiniti if it will void the warranty? Does Infiniti even do repairs for wrecked cars and if so will having the repairs done by them retain the warranty? I dont know if it makes a difference of not but they will be going through an insurance company this will not be an out of pocket type of repair.

Forgot to mention the car is also an '05 coupe.

Even if it will need mechanical repairs? I haven't seen the damage but my friend said the right front had a decent amount of damage.

yes even mechanical... just make sure where ever you take it uses OEM infiniti parts. but it would be better to let infiniti do the mechanical repairs since they know everything real well

^^^ That is what I was going to recommend but I'm not sure that the insurance company will let you have repairs done at multiple locations...? Something my friend will have to find out I guess.
