Iphone install

I think this is a pretty sick spot..just because my hand is always on the shifter so it is really easy to control the iphone and listen to my songs..and its a sleeper when I take the Iphone out..i just close up the cig tray....I was going to do a write up but I didnt have a cam. I installed an Iphone...I think you can install any Ipod as long as the DOCKING station for the ipod fits cleanly....I can take some more pics on a DIY...if people really want it. Its not that hard...the parts that I use is AAI-NIS2
I know i could have hardwire the cig lighter so it didnt have to sick out...but I didnt want to always charge my phone when its connected to the dock..so I can unplug it....then again I could have still hardwire the power...and have a switch but i was too lazy

Nice. Do you feel that it might ever vibrate loose? What kind of video out does the dock come with? I would like to do the same with my iPod Video and send the video to my nav screen, but I think the docks have S-Video out instead of composite.

I cant seem to get the Video working....yet...I dont have a movie on my iphone yet..i like just got it and i dont wanna buy a video...im too cheap haha and i have a G an a Iphone..funny right..neways....i was running test with the internet and youtube..i didnt get ne video...but im thinking if i played a movie or a clip it might..but i dont know...bec again its an iphone...im hearing talk about the only thing that is out for the video cable hook it is Component cables..and my video interface doesnt have all those colors...on the back of my Iphone dock...its the charging slot..and an Line out..which is the headphone jack...sooo I tryed hooking up the Headphone jack to RCA's...the ones with the RED/WHITE/YELLOW...the audio works but no video...again i was playing youtube bec thats all i had....im still doing more test....and will keep everyone updated...As for the set up I have...the interface that I have for the video is from AV Electronics...for like $250 and it gives you two video inputs...I have a back up cam an extra one for a DVD sourse...(ps2 or an Iphone...)as for the audio I have the PAC AAI-NIS2...I got it for like 60$ but thats at a discount retail is like 100....with the PAC AAI-NIS2 ...it will give you two audio inputs and it hookd into your factory radio....IM thinkin that the Ipod video would be that u have would be more easyer....im having some trouble with mine tho..If you have nemore questions just ask...
