My poor baby

Well how do I even begin...

I guess it all started the second week I had my car (August of 06) and it still had under 300 miles on it when my brakes failed to work and of course I had it taken to the dealer and they told me there was nothing wrong with my brakes, but my e-brake was loose. I asked them repeadily if they changed anything, but they claimed no, so anyways I went on with the car. In (January 07)my e-brake began failing and once again it was loose and they had tightened it up for me. Today My e-brake failed while being parked in my girlfriends driveway while the car was running. This time I wasnt fortunate. As you can see I now need a new door........

I must say thank god I didnt get pinned inbetween the door and the house and thank god my girlfriend didnt get run over...

Now my question is.. How is Infiniti going to react?? I'm ready to give up on the car completely cause I'm scared sh*tliss with the ebrake problem.. I know to leave the car in gear when parked but when its idling for a few seconds while I'm dropping books off at the door... Bottomline this shouldnt have happened. I love the car to death and I basically only use it on the weekends which shows on my mileage only being 6950 in a year and a half...
I dunno anymore, but here are some pix and yea I know its dirty I forgot to cover it in the garage and dust settled on it...

I went to Infiniti and they basically told me to f**k off. They refused to bring it in and look at the brake. Basically the service manger took the car and did a couple of e barke yanks in the parking lot at 10 mph and he stated " Theres nothing wrong its all in your head".

All of my cars were manual and I've never had one roll on me like that. Let alone ever have an issue with my ebrake like this car..At this point I have to wait it out and see what my insurance says and then I'll go after the Lemon law. I love the car to death, but I dont feel comfortable in it at this point anymore.

That sucks man, you should definitely compile your service records and the pictures and send them to Infiniti corporate. If I were you I would be supremely pissed and try to make this into something bigger than just between you and the service manager at your local Infiniti. Anyways, best of luck whatever happens.

You should have just gotten a automatic transmission j/k

Seriously you should get a lawyer & since everything is documented you won't have any problem. All the best.

The only thing that would bother me if the car gets lemoned is all the aftermarket parts I put into it. Yea I know I can sell them off but this time of year is not ideal to spend 5 hours taking apart everything from the head lights to my exhaust to put back to stock.

I guess what I mean is I'd rather have a new G35 issued rather than the G37. Call me crazy, but the G35 was the car I always wanted and took me 3 years to save up enough to buy it.

Wow Joe

Sorry to see what happened

I would definitely try to take it up with the dealership that did the service.

I just put back on my OEM exhaust yesterday so if it does happen that they lemon it.

Let me know I will help you put things back to stock.
